LINWOOD – The city tree lighting was the big event in town Friday, Dec. 4. This year the annual tree lighting was held at the Linwood Arboretum at Belhaven, where there was more room than at the Linwood Library. There was also more to do, and the event attracted more than 100 people.
“This has got to be a record for our tree lighting,” Mayor Richard DePamphilis said, looking over the crowd.
