NORTHFIELD – It might have been a day late due to heavy rains, but the Northfield Family Funfest did not come up short anywhere.
The sun brought the crowds to Birch Grove Park for a good old-fashioned day in the park Sunday, Oct. 4. There was plenty of food sizzling on the grills, family hayrides through the park, miniature golf, games and skateboard demos. Just about every organization in the city had a hand in the mix to help make for a day of fun as the city and the park begin the transition from summer to fall.
