Getting fired up about academics
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The Fernwood Avenue Middle School celebrated the end of the school year with its first Renaissance academic pep rally Wednesday, June 17.
The event recognized student role models, good grades and improvement while also featuring student musical numbers, cheering and group dances by students and teachers.
Renaissance encourages good grades and character through rewards.
The school, which has been involved in the Josten’s Renaissance program for two years now, had activities throughout the year surrounding their theme, “Fernwood’s Next Top Role Model.”
