Poletis crowned Mr. EHT
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The piano man walked away with the crown on Saturday night, May 30. Steven Tyler Poletis was named Mr. EHT 2009 after singing and playing a medley of songs on the keyboard.
Eleven contestants vied for the title in a hilarious night of entertainment at the Dr. Joyanne D. Miller School enjoyed by an audience of about 400.
First runner-up was Tyler Tomassone who overcame technical difficulties to present an entertaining song that he wrote. Frank Sicurella, who was a stand-up comedian during talent portion, walked away with the honor of being second runner-up. Winning the support of the crowd was football player Donald Savankham who was named crowd favorite and performed in a tutu during talent with friends, dancing to “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).”
