Memorial Day observance brings over 55 community together (Bonus slideshow)
EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – The Village Grande at Little Mill is a tight-knit community.
The activities in the clubhouse and the camaraderie among neighbors are just some of the reasons men and women 55 and older have come to the village since it opened five years ago.
“I have known these people only three years, but it seems like I have known them my entire life,” said resident Peg Flanigan, who chairs the social committee at the community.
So when it came time to commemorate Memorial Day, it was no big surprise that the neighborhood pulled out all the stops to make the occasion special for their family and friends.
