Beach fencing fell unsupported across eroded sand along Bay Drive in the West Atlantic City portion of Egg Harbor Township Monday morning. The recently reinforced shoreline fell victim to a storm that gnawed dunes down to their foundations in several places, exposing concrete rubble and drains.  Damage to homes, signs and businesses was also noticable in Pleasantville May 12.
