NORTHFIELD – The cafetorium at Northfield Community School was a very green spot Friday evening as the school held its first “green fair” in conjunction with Earth Day, which was April 22.
The second-grade class performed their play, “Your Planet Our Planet,” which had an upbeat message that everyone is responsible for doing something positive for the Earth. “This is a wonderful way to get the environmental message to our students and our families,” Fipp said.
The room was filled with ideas about ways to recycle other than simply putting bins to the curb every other week.
