LINWOOD – The crowd expects some raucous entertainment at the annual Mr. Mainland pageant, and this year’s contestants delivered it Wednesday, April 16 in what has become one of the most anticipated traditions of the year.
The event sponsored by Students Against Destructive Decisions brought 12 young men from the class of 2008 to the stage for a night of pure fun.
In the end, seniors Kermick DeJesus, 18, of Somers Point was crowned Mr. Mainland, with Kyle Devera, 18, of Somers Point first runner-up and Evan Heffron, 18, of Northfield second runner-up.
