Good times for the whole family at PTO 'funraiser' (BONUS SLIDESHOW)
ABSECON -- The Absecon Parent Teacher Organization put on a family friendly “funraiser” Feb. 23 for the whole family.
There were St. Patrick’s Day activities, arts and crafts, face painting, raffles, and a DJ. Even though it was a rainy day, they got to be creative and active.
Home Depot donated woodcraft projects to be put together with the help of the parents and teachers. There were refreshments and home baked goods. A special appearance by Doug Scholder, the H. Ashton Marsh School physical education teacher, got the youngsters involved in some line dancing.
