Families of workers have a field day seeing what makes the FAA tick

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – On any given day, there are hundreds of jobs being done at the Federal Aviation Administration William J. Hughes Technical Center, and Thursday, Aug. 23 gave children a chance to see what their parents or other important people in their lives do there for a living.
As part of FAA Aviation Enrichment Day, children were invited to learn about the tech center and the people behind it while trying their hand at some of the jobs, such as using flight simulators and testing their air traffic controlling skills.
Visitor program and special events manager Ginger Cairnes organized the day.
