SOMERS POINT--Students from Charter Tech High School for the Performing Arts in Somers Point recently performed at the Federal Aviation Administration’s William J. Hughes Technical Center in Egg Harbor Township to celebrate Black History Month. “From Slavery to Freedom: Africans in the Americas” was the theme of the program. Musical performances started with selections from the slavery era, moving up through current times.
